Everything Bagel Puffs with Scorched Bonnet Creamy Heat

Crispy, golden puff pastry bites filled with creamy whipped cheese and topped with a dollop of our Scorched Bonnets Sweet Heat Pepper Spread. Savoury, spicy, and sweet β all in one perfect bite!
π Ingredients:

1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed

1 egg yolk + splash of milk or cream (for egg wash)

Everything bagel seasoning

6 oz cream cheese, softened
-
2 oz goat cheese (or additional cream cheese), softened
-
Juice of Β½ lemon
-
Dash of Worcestershire sauce (optional)

Pinch of kosher salt
-
ΒΌ tsp ground black pepper

1 green onion, finely chopped
-
3 tbsp Scorched Bonnets Sweet Heat Pepper Spread

Optional garnish: green onion slices or dill fronds

Preheat oven to 400Β°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.

Cut puff pastry into 12β15 squares or 2-inch rounds. Score a smaller square or circle depending on the shape you chose in the center to create a border.

Brush edges (only the outsider border) with egg wash and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.

Bake 12β15 minutes until puffed and golden. Let cool. Press down the centers gently to make space for filling.

Make the filling: Mix cream cheese, goat cheese, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire (if using) until smooth. Fold in green onions.

Fill each puff with a spoonful or piped mound of cheese mixture.

Warm and top each puff with Β½ tsp of Scorched Bonnets Sweet Heat Pepper Spread.

Garnish with green onions or dill if desired. Serve immediately or chill for later.
